I am currently a principal UX designer at iRobot in Bedford, MA. My job is to design robot behaviors and improve user experience both in a real world with a robot and in a digital world with an app. 

I have had several different job titles in my 9+ years of career like user experience designer, human factors engineer, and computer scientist. Under these various job titles, my process is always a human-centered approach to implement the advanced technology such as robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, and mobile display in our daily lives. My big interest is to observe how people use smart/intelligent products and dig up their needs which they are not even aware of.

My background is industrial design not in an art school but in an engineering school. It makes me not only learn design skills and user study methodologies but also have a chance to collaborate with engineers and understand their languages and approach to solve a problem.
